A very interesting reboot with a more accentuated artistic perspective, it's clear how a crew with a keen eye for photography and pacing can revitalize a burned-out franchise. The special effects team deserves the biggest shout-out here. Although the decision to keep the original Godzilla walking cycle in the ground animation was not my favorite aspect of this movie, the team shows their potential when it comes to water scenes.
