such beautiful imagery watching Jeanne made me feel like I had a knife to my heart the whole time her pain was so immense, I will say the amount of phallic symbols was off putting, i can’t that it was made with a feminist intent however since it’s produced through a clear lens of misogyny, sexual desire, and moral depravity to the point where it’s impossible to watch the 10th time Jeanne is sexually exploited but nonetheless a great film.
