The demon kink might be a bit strange but Lily-Depp’s acting was pretty good, contrary to what you might hear online.

The story’s message was also very clear to see: duty over desire.

I really hope the German Expressionist aesthetic makes a comeback because the cinematography was beyond amazing.

African American cinema has sort of come full circle with this. I think it’s a return to black stories for Black America by Black Americans, no mainstream manufactured tokenistic crap. It’s just a big ass middle finger to Hollywood by Hollywood? Apart from that, great characters, great story, love it.

This shit definitely originated on wattpad. I thought it would be a ‘so bad it’s funny movie’ but it was genuinely abhorrent to watch. I will never get those one and a half hours of my life back and I will hold a vendetta against Amazon for making this dried up pile of excrement.

As a working class person who is about to go to visit a friend’s country manor, I watched this film for preparation.
I can whole heartedly say I will not be indulging in the same mayhem as Oliver.

Update after a few months: I finally understood what the film was about and for that it’s getting upgraded to four and a half stars.
