i was worried that i had oversold barbie for myself and that i would go in with high expectations that would not be met, but i should know better than to second guess the greta gerwig like that. barbie was everything i wanted it to be and more.
the message behind the film really hit me where it hurts. it reminded me of the gloria steinem quote, “the truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off.”…
