Weird and disturbing. The body horror is definitely what someone can expect from the Cronenberg name but that's all there is to it. I didn't really like any of the characters and the plot itself was twisted but nothing that had me gripping at my seat wondering what will happen next. Overall, it is a good film so long as you know what you're getting into.

The Royal Tenenbaums 2001
Probably Wes Andersons darkest films yet also his most heartwarming. The Royal Tenenbaums shows Wes Anderson right before he completes his signature style.
This film still has the visuals one can expect from his films along with the dialogue, but the characters feel more real than anything Wes has done before and after.
The score and soundtrack also stands out as usual which create the world and atmosphere just as much as his art style.
Overall, The Royal Tenenbaums is not one of Wes' best films but it certainly can stand amongst them.

Pearl 2022
Vibrant colours add to the disturbing gorefest that this film is. Mia Goth steals the show as her slow creep into madness lead to me shitting my pants. Only issue is that the colours are so bright that it almost takes away from the experience, reminding me of cartoons like the simpsons.
