Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 2010
Can't believe it's taken me this long to watch this film. This film is genuinely one of the most beautiful films I've seen. To commit as hard as it did to the style and to do it with grace and humor and ease is something rare and special.
The cast are an ensemble before it was an ensemble, not a single moment, stutter or line was out of place and despite being comic characters they all felt real at the same time.
One of those films that come once and never again.

I do appreciate a movie that can keep a more concise runtime while still firing on all cylinders. Robert Pattinson just delivers a solid performance that manages to fit perfectly into the black comedy world of this film, he blends in with the cast, which I think is perfect for what the character is: No hero or anything, just a guy who gets to die more than the average person.

Kinds of Kindness 2024
Much more winding and confusing film than meets the eye. Ultimately it seems to be more of a meditation on certain themes and imagery than it is a strong story. It's well worth a watch and the performances from the cast across the board are fantastic. Also deeply hilarious.
