    when silenzio enters the saloon and looks for the bounty hunter, the great snow outside reflects the characters juxtaposed position with the hunters: he is the angel, sought by the innocents.

    although the ending sets you back to reality: angels are fallen.

    it didn't come to my attention that the colour pallette in the movie was actually imitating most of the works by edward hopper. especially the final shot and previous scenes, the high contrast blue,green and red colours; the unhinged emptiness of the parking lots, separate zones of individuality displayed by the divided rooms, eyes not making any contact....

    all these accumulate into a series of long-shots which leave you with a disturbed feeling over the agony and joy of journey…
