Movies like this are hard to review, because I can recognize the tremendous amount of acting chops it took to do scenes like that - but on the other hand, it certainly wasn’t something that was pleasant to watch lol. Mikey Madison was deserving of her recognition. I do feel like there is a dialogue here about the nature of ostensibly middle/upper class white men directing stories like this that are so far out of their own lived experience. I thought her character could have been developed more. Overall good, but with a few notes.
