the dance scene with jim carrey and his body double made me forget I was supposed to see this movie with my boyfriend who I broke up with the day prior.

Nosferatu 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
As someone who struggles on a daily basis with feelings of shame and feeling as though I have too many demons, this movie really struck a chord with me. Lily Rose Depps portrayal of Ellen was phenomenal, I truly empathized with her humility and her main struggle. Also the ending scene where they’re both staring at the sun is so iconic. One of the only movies where the main character doesn’t survive and I left the theatre feeling satisfied.

Wicked 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
when the edible kicks in halfway through the film and the phrase "SUGAR GLIDER ON THE DRUMS, SUGAR GLIDER ON THE DRUMS" repeats fervently in my head over and over. THAT'S how you know the moviegoing experience was a remarkable one. I will also say after watching this film, i COMPLETELY understand why we're holding space for Defying Gravity and why everyone thinks the two main actresses are gay and in love. How the hell DONT you fall in love with someone after that Oz Dust dance scene?? gay ass movie that i watched in my gayest era of life.

Twisters 2024
letterboxed review
the perfect moviegoing experience: (1) canadian sandwich gummy covered in RSO (1) 4DX ticket to Twisters (2024) (1) 9 canadian dollar white claw. This movie is an evergreen dream for movegoers. I found there was a perfect amount of girlboss (like I love that Kate actually stopped the final tornado on her own?) mixed with obvious romantic tropes (but also the end scene with both men who love her running after her and she takes both their hands?…
