If it wasn’t for the Academy elevating it this season, GREEN BOOK would’ve been a heartwarming holiday movie for two months and the world would’ve kept spinning. I wouldn’t have seen it. Many people wouldn’t have seen it.
But since all that did happen, I’ll agree with the Academy on one thing: Ali deserved the win. He has continually proven to be one of the best actors in the business. As for Viggo? Replace Russian accent from EASTERN PROMISES with Itailian accent and you get Tony.
