The Watchers 2024
Some really good shots, but the plot was so scattered, just built up mystery and concepts to never circle back around, plot was like a straight line leading nowhere.
It was really lacking in the “show don’t tell” rule, felt like it could have been super well done if not each and every concept and problem was just explained to us by one of the characters for every part (mainly Madeline the old lady) - it just lacked a lot of suspense for me.
It came from a book so that’s why it’s dialogue heavy… but tell the story with the eyes!!
