  THIS FILM SHOULD BE PLAYED LOUD !

  Okay Martin I’ll listen to you. It was tough to differentiate the "movie" from the concert itself. Found it difficult to understand the narrative Scorsese was trying to weave between interviews of The Band and their concert. Otherwise, it was a delight to watch and appreciate a bit of "dad rock" history. 

  Van Morrison’s Caravan is up there in the greatest songs and live performances of all time.

  Saw this live in concert. Skeptical about it in the first 10 minutes but oh my did it deliver. 

  Barbican orchestra absolutely crushed it. It was tough to hear dialogue in the few scenes where music was played over it but you’re not really there for the movie. 

  Deservedly, the drummer got a standing ovation after the final solo but HE STILL KEPT PLAYING through the credits. 10/10 experience.
