The first half and second half of this movie almost deserve different scores. Having now read the original story, I can say that I strongly wish this film was a little more of a slow burn, but the visual assault that is the second half is well worth the watch alone.
As a side note, I also think the family members' different ways of going insane are not easily identifiable as "going insane" and comes off more as highly inconsistent acting.
I thought the story was only minimally interesting, but for a short film, the technical quality of this film was amazing. The combination of the cinematography and editing creates this frenetic atmosphere that doesn't let up for the entirety of the runtime. Thoroughly impressive.

I really enjoyed this movie. It's quite funny, has a great cast, and really nails a visual style that feels like what Birds of Prey tried and failed to achieve.
With that being said, I can't help but feel that this type of movie is becoming too common. John Wick became one of my favorites because of its style-over-substance approach, which was drastically different than a James Bond film or a Bourne Identity.
