How is Johnny Depp in a Western not it for me?
Maybe it was because the classroom I was in had it's heater broken and it was 30 degrees celsius. But this movie wasn't it for me unfortunately. Though i found that Jarmusch's charming dialogue still persists throughout this movie, I didn't quite get invested in the story all that much, all things considered. It's definitely a movie I should rewatch, since I found many moments to be really good and memorable especially Nobody's character.

Man this is what cinema is all about.

I've probably seen this movie upwards of 30 times (it helps that I have it on DVD). With each rewatch, I fall more in love with studio Aardman's work, with the stellar soundtrack, and with the Wallace and Gromit universe as a whole.
They themselves, are always so charming, have so much chemistry together and just have one of the neatest dynamics a duo could have.
Wallace being this mad Scientist and…

This was a pleasant watch. After a few years without anything from this franchise, we finally get a continuation with a focus on kaede which is a fresh change of place. Kaede being the central focus is something I think we should've seen as soon as it happened in the show (after she came back). Watching her getting rehabilitated to her life is really heartwarming. Especially all the scenes she shares with her brother. I especially loved the ending, which…

    Weird ?

I think I liked it but at the same time not?
Like I think it's well lit, most shots look good but there's something about the editing that makes it feel like it's constantly a music video. I liked how their relationship was portrayed tho.
Let's be honest here, they were both dumb, he expected the world from her when she said not to. She sent mixed signals knowing his feelings. Nobody is right, nobody is wrong, but everybody ended up in a better place somehow. So in that sense, it kinda worked.

    Loneliness is underrated!
