A charming coming of age story about friendship, discovering yourself, and accepting who you are. Great animation with a great moral. Nothing completely original story wise but still worth a watch with the family.

Mulan 2020
While it is a Disney film, it felt like it had difficulty balancing between a serious tone and a happy-go-lucky, everything works out fine tone. I did however enjoy the omission of musical elements from the animated original. Overall, worth a watch, but could have been better if it leaned into the more serious elements.

The Lion King 2019
Visually very stunning but the voice acting felt too noticeable in spots and felt slightly off. It is still an entertaining watch, but I would recommend just sticking to the original 90s animated classic.
