The CGI was cool, but besides that… I can probably give you 65 reasons to not watch 65. The only cool or redeeming part of the entire movie is at the start where it shows the tag line “65 million years ago
A visitor crash landed on Earth” and that is where I thought ‘this movie might have something that is interesting in it’. But it doesn’t. For Adam Drivers character to be from a different Universe / Planet, they made him very boring and the world just bland. The ending was stupid.Translated from by -
Pacific Rim 2013
A movie that is both emotional at times but also action packed to the brim. You can tell the director has done different movies and wanted a try at a 'super hero film' without the DC or Marvel name to it. The shots GDT gets are incredible and the creep factor is there at time as well. Overall this movie is legendary one, and could've been a launch pad for an entire series a la Transformers. But as a standalone, its incredible.
