  A slasher for the 2020s. Beautifully shot with a pleasantly unexpected emphasis on framing. This one wears its Friday the 13th inspiration on its sleeve.

  Characters are exceptionally vapid and dialogue is mostly shallow and obnoxious, but that's not what we're here for now is it? The kills are creative and brutal and the practical effects are mostly very well done.

  Objectively speaking, this movie does not deserve a 9 / 10, but it's right up my alley, so here we are.

  Absolute peak b-horror madness. Absurd delivery of already awful dialogue, an endless stream of disjointed and at-times nonsensical plot points, buckets-of-blood chainsaw kills, a random kung fu attack from a Bruce Lee lookalike played by a man who went by the name "Bruce Le," and a god damn water bed murder.

  This movie is amazing.

  The most beautiful thing in the world is smoking pot and fucking on a water bed at the same time.
