Moana 2016
It’s got great music and it’s gorgeous to look at. The main character is easy to root for and the antagonists all of their reasons for doing what they do. Big fan.
I do find the “and no one leaves” lyric in that one song to be more menacing than I think was intended, but I won’t hold that against them.

Finding Dory 2016
It’s one of those movies that feels like it was made purely to prey on your nostalgia, rather than tell a story that the creators felt passionate about. Sure it looks prettier than Finding Nemo, but it doesn’t improve upon anything besides that.
Also, I know it’s a feel-good kids’ movie about the fish with no memory, but Dory exhibits a surprising amount or memorization ability in this movie for someone with an alleged disability 🤔
