“I care more to be loved. I want to be loved.”
“That is not the same as loving.”
The pinnacle of cinema. It’s doesn’t get better than the last showing of the Groundhog Day marathon. Probably some of the most fun I’ve had in any movie theater.
As Nicole Kidman infamously said, “We come to this place…for magic.”
“Because we need that, all of us, that indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim. And we go somewhere we’ve never been before; not just entertained, but somehow reborn. Together.”
I got to experience a little bit of that movie magic again tonight. Thank you to Gateway Film Center and Punxsutawney Phil for experience once again.
I am still alive. 5 showings down, 1 more to go. I wonder what Bill Murray would think about all of this.
Ariana bodied the role of Glinda. Did not expect to laugh as much as I did when she was on screen.
Cynthia is a remarkable, one of a kind, theatrical talent and it makes me so happy seeing her shine.
Physically kicking and screaming and grinning the whole time Jonathan Bailey was on screen; they picked the perfect person for Fiyero.
Seeing it in 3D was a magical experience of a lifetime. I know it’s corny but I’m so happy I got to experience Wicked in theaters in all its glory.
Probably the movie I was most excited to watch this year. Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, and the lil Omar Apollo role with Luca as director? Was going to watch it no matter what.
Honestly did not know what was going on in the latter half of the film yet I sat in my car after it was over and cried for 15 minutes processing the events of what I had seen.
It’s a beautiful, confusing, and tragic film not everyone…
