I think the animation is really great and I really like the story since it is pretty similar to the book. I will say I like the book much better because you feel for Satrapi so much more and learn so much more about her life. This seemed very fast in comparison.
I liked the rendition of eye of the tiger a lot and made me want to have a montage of becoming a better person
I think really cool premise and I like the characters but sometimes they go too hard with the acting. I just wish more of the story arcs were fleshed out and the multiples storyline was better utilized.
Makes me want to watch more Pattinson and Yeun stuff so W marketing
Why is this a musical? Also the ending had me actually laughing like what? Anything that is interesting is never actually built into a good story. I’m not really sure how this is going crazy with awards. Also how is Zoe considered a supporting actress when she takes up the most screen time in the entire movie like huh?
Watching this in IMAX and not in my dad’s apartment completely changed how I experienced this movie. I caught the smaller details which really added to the movie. I was so much more locked in this time. Matthew McConaughey is so goated. Not being nominated for anything in acting is a crime. Only winning one Oscar is a crime.
