It's a decent little flick. Michelle Pfeiffer is really good carrying this film and the rest of the cast is pretty good. But not Matthew Modine. It's like he is in some other movie and it's weird. Really fucking weird.
Also, god bless Charles Napier. He always delivers. No matter how big or small. Dude's a pro.

The Legend of Billie Jean 1985
It's not a good movie. We all know. Hell, Helen Slater loses her redneck accent as the movie goes along and Christian Slater never even attempts one, while Yeardley Smith's scares the hell out of me.
Anyway, fair is fair, right? It's got glorious music video quality throughout the flick, Helen Slater is crazy hot, but bad ass as the 80s Texas trailer trash MTV Joan of Arc. That's really all this is, but it's fun.

Just because you got great acting doesn’t mean you got an interesting story. It’s just a boring story and I don’t give a shit about the characters for the most part. Sterling K Brown does a decent enough job as a closeted pastor trying to come back from a scandal, but it’s just dull. I really wanted to like it. Oh well.
