Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
This is a fantastic deconstruction of what it means to be Spider-Man and expands the multiverse concept of the prior film to some of its most absurd possibilities in a way that is very enjoyable as well as gripping. To my surprise it out-did the first Spider-Verse on pretty much every front for me especially with the animation and characters. It also had just enough fan service to make a lifelong Spider-Man fan like myself kick her silly little feet…

Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
A lot of the jokes at the beginning of this were landing pretty well for me. Aside from some God awful looking effects I'd say this is somewhat overhated and just happened to come out at a time where people started getting sick of the MCU which is honestly justified. Christian Bale's character should've been much more compelling. The biggest flaw of this movie is too much fucking guns n roses fuck them.
