Loved the documentary since I first saw it a film festival where everyone cheered for the team like they had been life long fans of American Samoa. The story did not need any embellishment but boy oh boy did taika have to embellish.
Real American Samoa team weren't idiots they just weren't good at football. Taika starts the film by showing how a Pacific island country can't do a haka, let alone kick a ball...off to a bad start.
