Quickening 2021
A quiet, beautiful movie with heavy concepts. Each scene was so intimate and I felt like I was really feeling the characters grief and projections. For anyone who is from diaspora, the stories and scenes in this movie will be very familiar. However, the cinematography and sound engineering add an atmosphere I haven’t felt in many other movies covering similar concepts.
