  I feel like Brad Pitt was just so buzzing after playing Aldo Raine, that he was desperate to get back into the role of the 'I’ve-seen-some-shit'-German-speaking-American-patriot-hardass-with-a-heart-commando type. He definitely brought that same satirical energy to the role of… 'Wardaddy'. (Barf.) The entire script was corny. None of the characters were likeable. The plot was frustratingly clunky. The only reason I didn’t give it one star is because it did actually have potential to be entertaining, at the very least. Wasted opportunity.
