feels like an avant garde horror cinema, cinematography are experimental.
also, i really love the last episode (they really all out for the music budget this time)

this is the kind of movie where you watch a youtube video explaining the plot afterwards. This film really represents evil and terror, even the making of this film itself is a terror, especially Shelley Duvall who is mentally tortured by Kubrick's direction, and also underappreciated in the actress scenes. for me, this film is not about Stanley Kubrick's direction or Jack Niholson's iconic scene. but it's about the terror that Shelley Duvall experienced in the film as well as in real life.
