Overall pretty fun movie! Somehow very predictable but still caught me by surprise. The writing was fun and had plenty of laughable one liners. I got the experience of an early screening, ate free popcorn and I saw a couple SNL cast members. Thanks A24!

Where the Wild Things Are 2009
Wow. I just started a children’s writing and illustration program at UCSD and I decided to come back to this movie because I remember loving the book but being scared of the movie as a child, so I thought I’d give it a shot. This movie has just so much depth to it. It still has some very heavy elements that really made me sit and think. I cannot describe the emotion this brought out of me.

Theater Camp 2023
I liked the mockumentary style filming of this movie and it was spot on with depicting the world of theatre for a young person. It took me back to the trenches of my high school theatre dept. The plot moved really fast and didn’t allow for characters to feel real or lived in. It was a fun movie with a great cast but I think one watch is enough for me.
