Loved the ride but the twist felt cheap to me. Definitely felt like the twist that comes out of nowhere at the end of a page turning thriller and I guess that’s what it was

Three Thousand Years of Longing 2022
Strong independent woman who doesn't need a man but apparently needs a djinn? Loved most of this movie but the final romance doesn't really work and is kinda the crux. Maybe if Tilda's character had been expanded a bit beyond the one short flashback it would have but I really just didn't buy her swooning so quickly. First 2/3rds are stellar though and it's a great visual experience throughout
