Was theorising how this would wrap up during the intermission and did not have that on my bingo card.
Brody sinking probably a decent portion of the budget on chain smoking and you got businessman money obsessed Guy Pearce, I was locked in.
Part 1 was incredible stuff across the board. Gonna have the theme that plays on the boat and some of the imagery in my head for a while.

Too Old to Die Young 2019
Made it through 4 episodes and decided that was enough for me. While most of the time I was enjoying what I was watching, I'm not nearly invested enough to sit through 6 more 90 minute episodes. The pace is excruciatingly slow, which I've come to expect and usually not mind from Refn, but in a 10 episode season of tv there is literally no need for these episodes to be as long as feature length films.
