  One of the worst movies I’ve seen in a while. Its ideas wouldn’t be subversive in the ‘90s, and it bashes you over the head with them for almost 2 and a half hours. The basic plot of the movie makes no sense. Demi Moore’s character doesn’t benefit from using the substance for any amount of time at any point in the movie. It’s nonsensical. I was considering writing more on my thoughts, but this movie doesn’t deserve any more of my time.

  Everyone seemed like they were having a great time in this: Scorsese was throwing the camera around, the women all got to do fun psychosexual shit, Dunne got to slowly lose his mind.
