    sooo… i have a lot of feelings about this one (please bear with me). that one scene of timothy hutton sitting at his kitchen table felt like a snap shot—his father asking him if he’s okay and him replying with “yeah” because mundanity is safe even if it’s not sincere. and that other scene of judd hirsch therapizing while smoking a cigarette felt potent in its ordinariness—with timothy hutton not being able to articulate himself because he can’t conjure up…
