  Visually, it was a stunning movie, but unfortunately, that was its only standout quality. This sequel falls far short of the original in every way and serves as yet another example of a film overindulging in fan service. The story itself wasn’t bad, but the execution was.

  Hubie Halloween reminds us not to take life too seriously—for better or worse. It had a few moments that made me laugh, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that my time might have been better spent elsewhere. In a cruel twist of fate, the funniest part of my Hubie experience was being forced to watch it twice. It didn’t get any better the second time.
