A great balance of spooky, fun, and sentimental. Probably about as scary as a modern Disney film could be, and did have some good scares. Great score incorporating the classic themes from the ride. I really really enjoyed this film, will definitely be watching many times in the future.
While watching I just knew that many young people who see it will be ushered into being fans of the horror genre by this movie - similarly to how Coraline was that for me.
4 stars only because I just would love to see even more scares, but for a kids movie it was great.
