Stop Making Sense 1984
Although not my preferred music, it’s undeniable how well the show is recorded, edited and filmed. Makes me wish all of my favourite artists had performances filmed even half as good as this one.

Not sure what can be said that means anything. Adam Driver and John Washingtons performances were outstanding, genuinly phenomenal script writing and acting. A film i'll come back to in the future just to see their perspectives change and strengthen throughout the film.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I'm not sure what to say. Aftersun is about suicide. It handles the topic with perfect subtelty and marks a final holiday between father and daughter as one filled happiness, firsts and lasts.
Sophie remembers her dad fondly. The grief she must feel is palpable, there is no attempt from the current version of sophie to express how she feels about her dads death. Instead we're allowed to watch the recordings they took together on their last holiday.
