S Tier Anthology movie!
I watched this after being very disappointed with the Studio's first outing, Mary and the Witch's flower, and was absolutely blown away. Basically throwing away Mary's biggest problem, its pacing, these three shorts are all near-masterpieces in their own rights. Each one showed off some sort of animation phenomenon that just wowed me, either being CGI blending, Water color animation, or just animating something you'd never thought you'd appreciate before. This is the first movie I've seen this year...
And to put it simply, it was very fun. Seeing a Rated-R MCU film was fun. Seeing Deadpool and a cool costumed Wolverine fight others and each other was fun. Seeing all the fourth wall breaks and jokes was fun. Some legitimately great jokes in there.
But this movie isn't amazing. This isn't one of the MCU greats that will blow you away like Guardians or Spider-Man. I feel like it…
