  Finally got around to seeing this. I enjoyed it but didn’t think the storyline and the voice acting was as good as other dubbed ghibli movies.

  Lots of chaotic thoughts about this one. 
  But to summarize. Disappointing and all over the place. Acting seemed stiff and and relationships seemed awkward. In the first movie it seemed and felt real. Like a real dynamic. This seems like strangers talking to one another. 

  Anywho. I’ll add more later. But that’s the gist.

  Just watched this and my boyfriend pointed at me and said “see how Joy says, “this isn’t in your control. And focus what is in your control.’ Do more of that. Let your anxiety learn from that.”       I feel so called out rn. 

  
  Overall a good movie. Some parts when a bit too fast where we could have slowed down to soak it all in. But overall a good sequel.

  I’ll put more when I let myself absorb more of it later. But as someone who suffers from anxiety I feel seen lol

  My friend at the end of the movie, while sobbing,
  “God I love being a woman!”
  Sums up the whole movie in a sense.
