  Losing my aunt from cancer and knowing my mom had cancer a long time ago (she’s clean now). It’s heartbreaking to know that there are someone who are profiting by pretending and giving false information just for attention and fame. I’m glad my mom never seek to alternative treatments and listens to doctors right away in order to get better.

  I’ve read that this movie doesn’t accurately represent Turkish traditions and culture, though I can’t speak to that personally since I’m not Turkish. However, what I do know is that issues like child marriage and patriarchy are still happening today, even in my own country.
