theres a very personal and intimate touch about this film that I missed the first time I saw it. In order to appreciate the film I had to let myself go and completely surrender myself to the vivid imagery and I was rewarded with one of the most visceral experiences. also i love how Kar Wai Wong captures the beauty and loneliness of Hong Kong with those eccentric characters roaming around past midnight
