  Themes

  Bong Joon-Ho loves the themes of class and class struggles and they are on full display here. While maybe slightly more implicitly than in a film like snowpiercer they nonetheless take the center stage. These themes are well developed and explored. However, like with some of his other films they take an unconventional method in their exploration of these themes.
