I found the film to be an interesting watch. It was really fun to watch a young Laura Dern act, and if she wasn't playing Connie I wouldn't have empathized with her as much. I did find Connie to be frustrating at times, but I also felt the film didn't really have many, if any, likable characters. Arnold Friend was of course the worst of them. This documentary did not feel like a movie from 2004. Moore does an excellent job of engaging the viewer throughout the film. The structure of the film feels completely natural, as if Moore just found the footage like that. I think the humor interspersed still hits today, and is also used to really reel the audience in. Both Jack and Rose have a charisma to them that just meshes well. I loved the upper and lower class party scenes, they really shined there. The film does an excellent job of portraying class differences, from costuming to characterization. The performance from Victor Garber really connected with me.…
