A film so relentlessly brutal and miserable, almost to a comical level, that desperately tries to imagine a much kinder world even until the very end. Absolutely loved the aesthetic the film goes for, both in the choice of color and camera quality, a really good creative decision on their part. Björk is perfect in this role, both as an actor and musician, her style of music fits exactly with what the film is going for. Can’t wait to alienate my loved ones by making them watch this 👍

It was like watching a car crash in slow motion. Putting aside the problematic politics, this is fundamentally broken as a film. The acting sucks, the cinematography is boring, the songs are fucking awful. How the fuck was this nominated for anything????
