This is an objectively horrible movie that I thoroughly enjoyed. I don't know anything about Gumby, and this movie expects you to know every magical(?) power(??) these clay freaks are capable of. Gumby could turn into a tesseract with your grandma's face inside of it, and the movie will still look at you and go "lol you don't know about the grandma tesseract? really???"

Captures neurotic child-anxiety very well. A lot of the movie's substance is it's atmosphere, as you can likely see from every 1/2 star review mentioning watching paint dry. This also isn't exactly a movie that wants to convince you of it's own brilliance - You need to do a little work yourself and buy into the concept. I was hooked from the first second without effort, but I can see why some people just think it's a YouTube Poop. This film is cruel, but with empathy.
