You don't like the Yabba?
A dusty and sweaty Nightmare.
First of all, the Score is great. From the grimy Opening Theme to the Main Theme it all fits in pretty perfectly into this Australian Fever Dream.
And the Atmosphere: You can really feel the Heat and Sweat through the Screen. And also the Beers, you can definetly feel them. There are is ungodly amount of Beer consumed here and by the End you feel just as Drunk as John.…Translated from by -

Absolutely Insane. Unbelievable that this was made by a Major Hollywood Studio.
One of the most underrated and underapreciated War Movies of all Time.The Vibes here are pretty immaculate. It kind of mirrors Apocalypse Now but also feels like a very Heart-of-Darkness-like descent into madness. Also a bit of Moby Dick with the Ahab-like Tank Commander, expertly acted by George Dzundza. Not to mention the whole "David against Goliath" metaphor…
