  My only complaint with this movie is that they could have sharpened the image in the last 10-15 minutes of the film because it was really difficult to see through the massive amounts of tears streaming down my face. While Miyazaki-directed films tend to focus on the child-like wonder of what your brain can think of using color and brilliant animation, from what I can see Isao Takahata tries to show the other side of that coin.
