I have to deduct an entire point because of Tarantino writing his weird fetish into the story specific for his character to enjoy. NOBODY wants to see him sucking toes man.
Besides that, its two movies in one an both are decent. Great performance from most of the actors and generally well written dialogue (to be expected). The action was mostly good, got a little wonky toward the end.
As Lynch likes to say, its a story about "a woman in trouble" but in thus case the woman is Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks.
Wish they hadnt deleted some scenes but besides that, as a piece of the whole Twin Peaks pie, I can say its damn fine.
The scanners must have gotten a massive bulk discount on all these shotguns.
Where does the main character, who was homeless a bit ago, keep getting these fancy jackets and leather gloves?
The main actor's performance is stiff as cardboard. Michael Ironside is pretty fun though.
