Akimbo musket double kill.
Drama and characters were just ok and kept me watching but nothing that would get me back.
Watching numerous historical epics feels like comparing the same dish prepared by different chefs. They may have similar ingredients and over lapping ideas but it's in the style, presentation, and overall execution where they stand out. It's just a matter of choosing your favorite chef.

There's a lot of commentary with interesting premise that is explored. The performance from Robert Pattison is amazing. The world feels well presented and fun.
The ending unfortunately falls into a tropey mess of perfectly timed, recorded evil actions to convince the board to change leaders. It feels frustratingly naive in a time when indicated criminals are put into positions of power.
It's not perfect but I do find myself thinking about it's sci-fi concepts and dilemmas. I think putting a larger focus on it's clone story would've made it stronger.
