  I’m not sure what drugs you need to be on to thoroughly enjoy this movie but I was not on them.
  The story is great. Gloriously shot of course, insane fucking score but guys…come on now, the long shots? Way too fucking long, let’s be serious. The reason it took me about 5 watches was because I couldn’t get through the first 20 min of the movie.

  Dark detective thrillers are literally what got me into film (Se7en was one of the first movies I remember watching) & this one tries so hard to be as twisted & thrilling but fell short to me.

  Shailene gives a great performance & the first 10 minutes of camera work are god-tier but the dialogue gets so cringey at times; “Take your pills. Ignore the clowns. Fight the jackals.” Lmao like fr who wrote this??

  Wow. Firstly, Lily-rose is a star. Incredible performance. Second, I cannot compile a competent review with all the things I felt during this movie so I will just list the words that came to mind:
