Mortal Kombat 2021
(Possibly spoilery) Terrible. The film started out as promising, adding a backstory to something that didn’t need it but gave way to a great start. Then divulged into a family story with little to no actual feeling of closeness or family. It was hard to tell if our main character was a father or a brother or step father to the young girl in the film (either way unnecessary for a mortal Kombat movie). Then it becomes choppy with sequences…

The Dark Half 1993
A movie that has to change the rules of normal life to be believable. The whole thing could have been solved by simple realistic police work. Instead the main cop has to be so bad at his job that he lets everything slide. I get a horror movie is suspension of disbelief in the first place but it should come with realistic approach. I see why this Romero film is buried and hard to watch and find.
