Watching a Lynch film is on par with having 1000 wires tangled together and needing to disentangle every single one to finally have a hit of dopamine but you can’t even untangle all of them or it contradicts itself. I like to have an ending that can go multiple ways but there should be a fine line between open for interpretation and just pure chaos. Maybe it’s not even about making it all come together to understand and more about evoking…
Strange Days does a good job of mixing high-adrenaline science fiction and action to create a 90s neo-noir thriller. The first person scenes are the highlight and although uncomfortable at times it ends up keeping you at the edge of your seat for a lot of the film. Besides that, it ultimately drags a bit could have been shorter
