A swing and a miss by Umberto Lenzi here. I love a good cannibal movie but man did this one lack any redeeming qualities other than a couple slightly gross scenes, and even those were “Meh.”

Night of the Zombies 1980
Everything I want in an 80's Italian zombie flick and more. One of the pinnacles of the genre itself and loaded with so much cheese one cant help but fucking adore it. Clearly a Dawn of the Dead ripoff without all the political narrative. Truly a sucker for these trashy zombie films. The actual absurdity when our lead decides she must go full on indigenous to investigate whats happening with a local tribe fucking kills me every time.
